What to Expect On Your Guided Hunting Trip in New York State
I have been hunting in New York state's southern tier for over 40 years mostly in DEC Region IV. In this area, one can expect to see an abundance of deer as well as turkeys. Although there is some public lands available for hunting for the most part hunting is done on private properties where permission needs to be granted.
With that being said Region IV and especially the Hudson Valley where I hunt have some of the most diversified and scenic views in the State. Combine that with lots of games, this region makes for a quality outdoor experience. Presented below are a few items and suggestions I have found helpful to my hunting in NY over the years.
